A vintage oak chest of drawers painted in green with stencilling and natural wood details.

This is a a beautiful oak chest of drawers which has been fully stripped of its original finish. The top, side panels and drawers have been painted in a lovely soft green, with some "peep through" stencilling on the drawer fronts which also shows off the grain. All painted areas are treated with several layers of varnish for durability. All other areas have also been varnished to let the natural wood finish shine and new round solid brass handles have been added for a contemporary touch.

There are three spacious drawers with solid bases and dovetail joints. The drawer bases have been painted in a complementary colour and varnished for protection, and the rest of the internal wood has been treated to a natural wood salve to nourish and replenish the wood.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

I arrange delivery with one of my trusted furniture couriers, this will usually be a one man service and help will be required to unload the item at the buyer's home. If a two man service is required please let me know before checkout as there may be an extra charge.

I charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Islands and Ireland. Please contact me prior to purchase if you are in any of these areas for an accurate quote.

Collection is also welcome from my home workshop in Essex.

For commissions and custom orders, delivery will be arranged once work is completed.

All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.
