Hi, I'm Karen, welcome to Loulou Rose Originals.

I have a passion for saving furniture from landfill, updating it and seeing it start a new life with its new owner. I've been painting furniture for most of my adult life and I started Loulou Rose Originals full time in 2014 after doing it as a hobby for a few years.

Every new project is a fresh new challenge...some pieces have been through a lot and need more TLC than others, but each piece is considered individually for its unique qualities. I like to think they speak to me...some are kept fairly simple and classic, others I like to be a little more expressive with some hand painted art, stencilling and other paint techniques. I'm constantly inspired and excited by each new project.

I use only the best quality furniture paints available and try to make sure that all the products I use are kind to the environment. Packaging is a necessary evil when transporting large pieces of furniture, but where I can I try to source environmentally friendly options and hope that my customers will recycle the packaging I use.
