A vintage oak chest of drawers painted in dusky pink with naturally finished drawers.
The main body of this gorgeous oak chest of drawers has been painted in Damask, a subtle dusky mineral paint which complements beautifully the stripped oak drawer fronts and carved detail. The whole piece is treated with matt varnish and the original handles have been gilded with gold.
There are two small over two large drawers with solid bases and dovetail joints, which are in a lovely, clean condition and they, along with the whole interior, have been treated to a natural wood salve to nourish and replenish the wood.
99.5 cm wide
43 cm deep
81 cm high

I arrange delivery with one of my trusted furniture couriers, this will usually be a one man service and help will be required to unload the item at the buyer's home. If a two man service is required please let me know before checkout as there may be an extra charge. Delivery will usually be within 1-3 weeks of your order being placed, sometimes it may be quicker but on rare occasions it can take longer depending on your location. The drivers contact you directly to confirm the date and time of delivery and will work with you to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Collection is also welcome from my home workshop in Essex.
For commissions and custom orders, delivery will be arranged once work is completed.
All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.
