Chest of Drawers in Pink and White Washed Oak with Gold Stencil Detail
Chest of Drawers in Pink and White Washed Oak with Gold Stencil Detail
An attractive vintage oak chest of four drawers with a decorative bow front and queen anne legs.
This is a beautiful piece, stripped of its original finish and half painted in a gorgeous dusky pink mineral paint, and half white washed to lighten the oak and bring out the beautiful tiger grain. A flower design has also been added in gold to make this a completely unique and eye catching piece. The whole of the exterior has been varnished for durability and to add a wax like sheen. and the pretty drop leaf, solid brass handles have been cleaned and polished to bring out their natural beauty.
The four large, equal sized drawers are in good condition with dovetail joints and solid bases and they have all been cleaned and polished to refresh them.
This lovely piece would work equally well in a bedroom, hallway or living room.

All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.
