Chest of Drawers in Green with Burr Walnut Drawer Fronts and Gold Details

A beautiful, three drawer vintage chest of drawers painted in green with gold metallic detail and natural burr walnut wood drawers.

This stunning vintage chest of drawers has been painted in two shades of custom mixed green chalk mineral paint which has been varnished in a matt wax finish varnish for protection. The drawer fronts have been stripped of their old varnish and edged with gold, then varnished to protect and enhance the beautiful wood grain. The drawers are in good condition with dovetail joints and solid bases and they have all been cleaned and polished to refresh them. Brand new brass castors have been added to replace the original broken ones and the handles have been brightened with gold metallic paint.

This lovely piece would work equally well in a bedroom, hallway or living room.

Nationwide delivery is available.

I arrange delivery with one of my trusted furniture couriers, this will usually be a one man service and help will be required to unload the item at the buyer's home. If a two man service is required please let me know before checkout as there may be an extra charge.

I charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Islands and Ireland. Please contact me prior to purchase if you are in any of these areas for an accurate quote.

Collection is also welcome from my home workshop in Essex.

For commissions and custom orders, delivery will be arranged once work is completed.

All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.
