Chest of Drawers in Dark Blue with Gold Stencilling and Natural Wood Drawers and Top
A beautiful, large vintage bow fronted chest of drawers with Queen Anne legs, painted dark blue with gold metallic stencilling and natural wood drawers and top.
This large Queen Anne style bow fronted chest of drawers has been painted in a dark blue/black chalk mineral paint which has been varnished in a matt wax finish varnish for protection. The drawer fronts and the top have been stripped of their old varnish and then the drawer fronts have been stencilled with a gold metallic to add some interest and blend with the pretty original handles and then all the exposed wood has been treated with a hemp oil wax to bring out the beautiful grain of the wood and protect it. The drawers are in good condition with dovetail joints and solid bases and they have all been cleaned and polished to refresh them.

Delivery to most of mainland UK is included in my prices. If you are outside the mainland or in the Highlands there will be an additional charge for delivery so please contact me, prior to purchasing, with your postcode for a delivery price, which is to be agreed before ordering.
Delivery is arranged through trusted furniture couriers and will usually be within 1-3 weeks of your order being placed, sometimes it may be quicker but on occasion it can take longer depending on your location. The drivers contact you directly to confirm the date and time of delivery. Delivery will usually be a one-man only service so help will be required to unload the item at the buyer’s property. If a two man service is required there will usually be an extra charge. Our couriers will always work with you to arrange a mutually convenient time.
For commissions and custom orders, delivery will be arranged once work is completed.
All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.
