A stunning, elegant desk or dressing table with Queen Anne legs painted in green with gold detailing.

This beautiful vintage desk or dressing table has been painted on the carcass in two shades of custom mixed green chalk mineral paint. The drawer fronts have been stripped of their old finish and edged in the lighter green and gold and the top has been painted in both shades of the green and a gold stripe has been added for extra interest. The whole piece has been treated with several layers of satin wax finish varnish for protection and durability and the original solid brass handles have been cleaned and polished.

There is a wide drawer in the centre, over the knee hole, with two drawers at either side. The drawers have all been cleaned and treated with wood salve and all have dovetail joins and solid bases. This is a beautifully made which is strong and sturdy.

DELIVERY

Nationwide delivery is available.

I arrange delivery with one of my trusted furniture couriers, this will usually be a one man service and help will be required to unload the item at the buyer's home. If a two man service is required please let me know before checkout as there may be an extra charge.

I charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Islands and Ireland. Please contact me prior to purchase if you are in any of these areas for an accurate quote.

Collection is also welcome from my home workshop in Essex.

All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.
