A beautiful, elegant bow fronted mahogany console, sofa table or tall desk with tapered legs and two drawers.
This gorgeous vintage table has been painted in a custom mixed green chalk mineral paint. The drawer fronts, with their stunning flame mahogany veneer, have been stripped of their old finish and edged in the green and gold and the mahogany top has been stripped and also edged in gold and green. The whole piece has then been treated with several layers of satin wax finish varnish for protection and durability and the solid brass handles have been cleaned and polished.
The lovely curve to the top adds so much elegance to the piece, as do the long, tapered legs. This piece would work beautifully in a hallway, living room or dining room and could possibly be used as a desk, but please be aware that it is taller than the average desk.
There are two drawers to the front for storage, both with dovetail joints and solid bases. The whole piece is in good, solid condition.

All my work is refinished with great care and attention to detail using the best quality furniture paints which are as environmentally friendly as possible. My pieces are all antique, vintage and always pre-loved and therefore may show minor signs of their past life with the occasional dent or ding. Major imperfections are always repaired, but I believe small marks show the piece's history and add to its charm. Any signs of historic woodworm are treated as a matter of course.

Nationwide delivery is available.
I arrange delivery with one of my trusted furniture couriers, this will usually be a one man service and help will be required to unload the item at the buyer's home. If a two man service is required please let me know before checkout as there may be an extra charge.
I charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK, excluding the Highlands of Scotland, Islands and Ireland. Please contact me prior to purchase if you are in any of these areas for an accurate quote.
Collection is also welcome from my home workshop in Essex.
